The Connecticut Trolley Museum has over 70 pieces of rail equipment dating back to 1869. During your visit, you can see historic passenger and freight trolley cars, interurban cars, elevated railway cars, passenger and freight railroad cars, service cars, locomotives, and a variety of other equipment from railways around Connecticut. You will also find examples from Brooklyn, Boston, New Orleans, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Springfield, Lynchburg, Montreal, and even Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
Step on board a restored vintage trolley car at the historic Isle of Safety and enjoy a relaxing 20-30 minute, 3-mile round-trip ride through the countryside with a trolley operator in period uniform. You'll be traveling along a completely rebuilt section of an original trolley line between Warehouse Point and Rockville that carried commuters, school children, and freight from 1905 to 1926.
This pass provides free admission for two adults and two children to the CT Trolley Museum, and one ride on an antique trolley during their visit. Admission to the CT Fire Truck Museum on the property is also included! During general admission days, patrons visit at no charge.
Patrons enjoy a 50% discount off admission during some special events such as Winterfest, Pumpkin Patch, Superhero & Princess Day, and more as listed on our calendar. The pass is not valid for Curse of the Rails, Storytime Trolley, Storytime with Santa, Elf on the Elgin & Breakfast with Characters.
